a quiet place to celebrate the art of haiku and other forms of poetry
eternity and other passing moments
September roses
lone cicada
above us pine needles tap stars
lovers' first embrace
the arc of night
snowdrifts a distant memory
summer awaits
light as passing memories ~
magnolia greets the morning
winter's silence breaking apart
your laughter lingering in the air
just a little off the top, please
hating long goodbyes
defying the odds
why this sense of dread . . .
tracing the path home by river light
eruptions of spring
now bits of frozen detritus
me or the wind?
white blossoms like fireflies
spring cannot be far?
I feel a howl rising
the weight of winter
I draw you to me in the darkness
antidote for despair
